Have you wondered how to tell our aquatic invasive plants from our native ones? Have you seen plants in the water that you’re not sure whether they’re good or bad? Does everything look like milfoil to you? Come and join us at one (or more) of these FREE workshops being offered for the benefit of our community and lake.

LACC is co-hosting a live plant ID workshop offered by the Lake Stewards of Maine on Tuesday, June 25, from 10AM-1PM at the Waterboro Town Hall in E. Waterboro. This is not a plant paddle, so no boat is needed. The program is free; attendees will need to register using the link below:

ADDITIONAL DATES AND LOCATION!

We have also scheduled 2 weekend sessions at Clubhouse 1 in Limerick (40 Fairview Terrace) to make this available to those unable to attend a weekday workshop:

Sunday, June 2 from 11AM-1PM  and  Saturday, June 8 from 11AM-1PM

We will have live plant samples available in trays of water for easy handling and identification. It’s going to be fun! Please email Debbie at [email protected] to register so we can get an idea of how many samples to bring for our weekend sessions.
