The LAC Public Works is actively investigating a potential water main break in the area of Crescent Drive and Eagleview Court, North Waterboro. As soon as it has been located, the crew will repair it as quickly possible.  During this period, residents in the affected area may experience variations in water pressure and possible discoloration of their water.

It is important to understand that the discoloration is primarily due to the presence of naturally occurring minerals, such as manganese, within our water mains. These minerals, while not harmful , can become dislodged and cause water to appear discolored when there are fluctuations in water flow, such as those caused by a water main break. Should you notice any discoloration, we advise running your water until it clears. The most effective way to do this is by using an outside spigot, which should help in clearing the discolored water more efficiently.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to resolve this issue as swiftly as possible. Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Thank you for your cooperation and support.
