The Boil Water Notice remains in effect at this time for the Leisure Lane and Deer Crossing, Limerick Water Break.

Water samples have been collected and submitted to the laboratory for testing. We expect to receive the results  tomorrow . Once the results have been reviewed, we will consult with the Maine Drinking Water Program. As soon as we receive authorization, we will provide another update regarding the status of the boil water notice.

Until the notice is lifted, please continue to boil all water used for:

Drinking

Cooking and food preparation

Making ice

Brushing teeth

Washing fruits and vegetables

Preparing infant formula

Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute, then allow it to cool before use. Bottled water may also be used for these purposes.

Brown or Discolored Water:
Some members may continue to notice brown or discolored water following the water main repair. This is caused by naturally occurring minerals being stirred up in the water mains and is temporary. Running your cold water for several minutes will usually clear the discoloration. We also recommend waiting until the water runs clear before doing laundry.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding. We expect to have another update tomorrow after we receive the laboratory results and speak with the Maine Drinking Water Program.
