UPDATE – 4/9/25:
As part of our continuing effort to locate the water main break causing pressure issues near Leisure Lane, Deer Crossing, Marten Circle, and surrounding roads, our crew will be performing water pressure checks on properties in these areas. This means they will need to enter your property to access your water spigot for testing the pressure. These tests will assist us in pinpointing the area of the break.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
Thank you.
3/31/25:
The LAC Public Works Department is aware of and is currently investigating a possible water main break in the Leisure Lane/Deer Crossing Road area of Limerick. Once the issue is identified, our crew will work to repair it as quickly as possible.
During this time, residents in the impacted area might experience fluctuations in water pressure and potential discoloration of their water. It’s essential to note that the discoloration is mainly due to naturally occurring minerals, such as manganese, present in our water mains. While these minerals are not harmful, they can become dislodged and cause discoloration when water flow fluctuates, such as during a water main break. If you notice any discoloration, we recommend running your water until it clears. The most effective method is to use an outdoor spigot, which should help clear the discolored water more efficiently.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to resolve this matter as quickly as possible. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to contact us.
