**The generator is not operating, all gates are closed. DEP minimum flows are being met through floodgate leakage only, no other gates are open.
Eagle Creek operations staff have been committed to maintaining full summer lake levels for the past 10-years and have received praise from many residents to that effect. It is unfortunate the lack of rain received.
The 10-day forecast is predicted to be hot and mostly dry, which will only make things worse.
Please note that the mean depth of the lake is 6-ft. With Max depth of 25 Ft. So evaporation factor also comes into play in addition to little inflow/rain.
With the fishing tournament coming up soon, please be advised the boat launch may be a challenge with such low water levels, it may be advisable to inform participants of that.
